Coded an AI program to play Othello using a minimax strategy with alpha-beta pruning to minimize the amount of moves the opponent had available. As the game progressed, the strategy changed. Early on, taking advantageous pieces were prioritized, but later in the game minimizing the opponents moves was valued higher. This allowed the program to quickly take control of the entire board at the end of the match.
