With the introduction of four-wheel drive, steering was added to the rear wheels to accommodate for the loss of front steering angle. To accommodate the change in suspension layout, I designed a removable suspension brace to allow access to vital drivetrain components. The suspension brace supports the upper A-arms of the rear suspension while also allowing easy access to the engine and continuously variable transmission.
